It is Pams birthday today, and I wanted to give her a very special card. A design that I have never done before, and that I had been tutored on at a craft demo a couple of weeks ago (see my other blog)
I took a standard card blank with envelope, and folded the front and back leaves back on themselves.
I then used a circular cutter to remove the centre and add the cutaway corner effect.
The centre circle was cut from silver mirri card and topped with matching backing paper to what had been used on the side panels.Some peel off stickers finished the effect. The centre disc was then suspended in the centre of the cut out using matching embroidery cotton. This cotton was then hidden using some of the hearts from the papers.
