Honeysuckle

It's Vikki's 30th birthday today, and Sally-Ann asked if I could make a card for her to send to her.
I used the Kraftyhands Garden Steps Collection CD-ROM for this one.
I've never made a stepper card before, but this was very easy, and a template is provided on the disc for you to follow. Also each element is printed separately with a 'map' to show where it fits on the card blank once it is cut and folded.
I decoupaged the butterflies and shaped them to give the feeling of flight between the flowers on each layer.
I think that both Sally-Ann and Vikki were pleased with the result.

Butterly Floral

It's my Aunts birthday next week. I wanted to make something super special, as this is her first birthday since losing Emily. Fred thought so too, and decided to help....

This is actually a Do Crafts kit, and it went together beautifully. It's the first time that I have used silicone glue for decoupage, but I was thrilled with the result, even if I did have to wait for it to dry.

and, even better, as I am posting this well after the fact (sorry about that, today is 05 March not 17 Feb!) I can tell you that she loved it, and even said it was my best yet!
High praise indeed!

Thanks

I had this lovely pastel green polka dot paper left from a previous project and decided that it went well with my flutterby's and dragonfly's.
A dot of glitter glue on the flutterby's body was the finishing touch.

I want my printer ink ..... Please deliver it soon! LOL

Good Luck

Paul's sister starts a new job this week and so this one is for her....

I chose a hammered baby pink card blank, and placed a strip of stars background paper down the centre.

The edges of the stars paper were framed with some heart border peel offs.

I took some butterflies from my store box, and having teased the wings of the large silver butterfly to give it a feeling of 3d movement, I then positioned them inside the starts panel.

The Good Luck wording finished it off.

We hope she likes it.

Butterfly Dimensions

Whilst I was out with Sally~Ann yesterday, she bought me the X-Cut Dimensions butterfly cutter for my birthday - yes I know my birthday is ages off, but you try telling her that! LOL

I had seen some projects using it on one of my favourite craft sites, and knew it would be a great addition to my craft equipment.

So this card is for Sally~Ann, to add to her little box, and be used at some time during the year.
I am so pleased with the result, and shall be making loads of these I think, as they have jumped to favourite in my mind LOL.
